I feel like I say this often: the artist featured here is young and very promising. Iman Omari has been blazing a trail for himself as a vocalist/producer for a few years now. Though his disposition holds multitudes, he usually plays it cool and laid back on his compositions. As a first taste of his upcoming LP
VIBErations, Iman gives us "Too Late," featuring some bars by MoRuf.
The song flips "Nothing Thought" by Sonnymoon, one of my absolute favorite tracks the soulful electronic duo have created to date, into a chilled-out head-nodder. The track goes from a humble existential anthem to a sensual love jam. Iman lingers over the track like fresh smoke, and his partner MoRuf's bars are a very adequate compliment.
I also feel like I say this often: pay attention to this young man. Catch up on his
Energies LP and ready yourself for the new.
