Why do we like this?

French producer 20syl, a quarter of famous crew C2C, begins his remix with this voice sample from French-Lebanese trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf.

Everybody was telling me "No, this is not the way you have to play trumpet !"

From there, he gives us glimpses of the contemporary instrumentalist's genius.

With this track, 20syl successfully blends jazz and electronic music for a surprisingly classy result. Definitely made my SoundCloud digging session!

This isn't the first collaboration between the Nantes based producer and the trumpeter: the two musicians already have worked together in the past, Ibrahim Maalouf being featured in 20syl's track "Seven Eleven."
