Why do we like this?

Back in September, Hoodie Allen dropped his Pep Rally EP to pretty large success on the blogosphere. Our coverage included the track "Swimming With Sharks" (featuring VV Brown) and "Dreams Up" (featuring Oh Land). There were two tracks I enjoyed in particular, however, that we never got around to sharing.

The first features samples from The Black Keys' "Tighten Up," a song that I'd reckon was (in part) responsible for their ascension to rock stardom. The second track samples Cold War Kids. Dope? Yeah.

Keep an eye out for our coverage of Hoodie's upcoming new mixtape, Leap Year, which will drop sometime this summer
