Why do we like this?
Our boy Rhett Flowers has already featured "Let Me Go" off of Hacienda's most recent album Shakedown (listen here), but today we give you another gem titled "Don't Turn Out The Light."
This summery track brought to you by these bearded Texans is one that brings to mind a sound that The Stokes once had back in their Room On Fire phase. It's sugary but not too sweet, it's southern but not too country, and it's produced by the well known Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach.
You gotta respect that these guys have serious relevancy in where music is headed today. They stay true to their vintage-inspired aesthetic as they create a sound that is positive, upbeat and altogether perfect for fans of 70s garage rock.
Hacienda will be releasing their fourth album in June 2013.
