Why do we like this?

I guess I'm in a 2001 mood, because for the second day in a row, today's Song of the Day features a song released that year.

Gorillaz's "Sound Check" filled the middle portion of the band's debut, self-titled album in a most-wonderful way. To this day it remains one of my favorite moments on the LP, so I feel like its absence on Indie Shuffle needs to be remedied.
