Why do we like this?

I feel like everyone can use a little Gina Cimmelli in their life. At first listen, I fell in love with her single, "Like I Did."

Gina has the gift of melding old sounds with new styles. Her retro 50s and 60s approach to songwriting really shines through in this single, while the execution has hints of modern production. The classic electric guitar brings the doo-wop sound, and her soothing, breezy vocals are prone to turn heads. But that's not all! The instrumentals that soon accompany Gina's guitar and vocals soak the song in sunny vintage pop  lushness.

I couldn't help but be engulfed in the absolute sweetness of Gina Cimmelli's uncanny execution of a retro style that still stands the test of time. I can't wait to hear what's next!
