There are a lot of things I don't know. Today I swear to you I've forgotten even the things I thought I did know. Not that I've forgotten, but maybe they're just not true anymore. Nothing feels true.
What is true is that "Full Circle" is a fitting theme for the here and now. It's that time of year when we really come back to ourselves, head into a new season, a new moon; asses who we are, what we're made of, what we keep, and what we lose.
In a time like this, it's important to stick to what is real. Real, like the producer. Real like this track, this mood, this feeling — a feeling created by what Real (aka Jackson Almond) has done to George FitzGerald's track "Full Circle." And those vocals you hear, that's really Real, Jackson, singing.
It's a mesmerizing trip, an exercise in introversion and vulnerability, well intended for this time of year. If you're not yet in your head questioning your person and reflecting on your past, "Full Circle" will surely put you there.
