Although there are always new musicians putting out interesting new tracks, and a huge part of music blogging is dedicated to this, some artists have been along even longer than us.
One such example is Four Tet, who has been active in one form or another since 1997, originally as a member of the post-rock group Fridge.
Revisiting some of Fridge's earlier work, his influence is clear on tracks like "Cut Up Piano & Xylophone," which wouldn't sound out of place on his forthcoming
Pink album.
It just goes to show looking backwards can sometimes be as rewarding as looking forwards!
