Happy Friday, ya'll. Excited to be in the driver's seat for this week's Friday Five playlist, because it's a great way to hype a lot of tracks without writing up individual posts for all of them. I've been looping Atlas Genius' "Trojans" for weeks on end now, which must make me a weirdo since the rest of the music-loving world has already had their fill on early Atlas Genius material.
Besides Australian indie rock, we've also got some great electronica records in the mix today. Happy to show London-based Dems some love for his beautiful new single "Desire." And while I wouldn't call it beautiful, I feel inclined to share Handbook's latest beat. "Sun King" goes in, reminding me of something AraabMuzik might produce. Large up to Empt, Bugseed, and Ill Sugi as well for their wonderful contributions to the playlist.
