Today's Friday Five includes five songs to listen to while skateboarding. I'm not sure how many of our readers actually skate, but for those of you who do, big ups! These are some of my personal favorite skating jams. For those who don't skate, these are pretty awesome tracks anyway.
I'm going to try and avoid this being a rehash of the numerous skate videos games I own, but they are a fertile source so I make no promises!
When I first started skating I listened to a lot of rock/punk/grungey/nu-metal type of thing like The Offspring, Sum 41, Nirvana (forgive me, I was young then!). So that makes up a part of my sound of skating, but I'm gonna leave it off this list, because the stuff on here is a lot better.
