Why do we like this?
Franskild's "Clockworks" is easy to listen to and so electronically fresh.
The vocals shine atop the undeniably danceable beat, which at first seems simplistic. As the song goes on, the effects build upon each other to create a pyramid of seriously catchy sounds. After a minute and a half, you find yourself immersed in an all-out dance party, complete with the bleeps and bloops that add a necessary quirkiness to what otherwise would be a classic electronic dance pop track.
It's a mystery as to when Franskild's next release will be, but I can only hope it will be soon!
