Why do we like this?

My introduction to Fortunes happened about a year ago, when I found their track "Keeper" while trawling SoundCloud for hidden gems. Then at the beginning of this year, they released their amazing Hoodie EP, and the love affair was further solidified.

"Communion" is a definite favorite from the EP, with Louie Knuxx lending his clever, raw rhymes to the already honest and unapologetic sound Fortunes has cultivated.

Something about the blatant New Zealand accent just oozes sexy, with trap and hip-hop elements mixed together effortlessly. These boys understand that less is more, and not one element is overdone.
