If you happen to be snowed in this weekend, perhaps you'd like to snuggle up to some Fonda. The band, that is. They've just released their new video for "She Is Real," and it's a relaxed melancholy lullaby that'll help you stay calm during this cold winter storm.
The video opens up with colorful shots of the West Coast at dusk; a beautiful sight indeed. Perhaps the song is focused on a person finding their way with or without that special someone. Perhaps it represents the ever-present revolving door of people, places and emotions that define our life while we attempt to find our way. Perhaps it's both. Either way, this song and video is quite encapsulating and contemplative and very much up to your own interpretation.
If you're in the mood for some Belle & Sebastian-esque tunes, give Fonda a listen and enjoy this shimmering, low-key indie pop ballad. Their album, Sell Your Memories, was released on February 5, 2013!
