Every now and then I find a track on SoundCloud that has way too few plays for its quality.
Like this one. Sure, it’s been on SoundCloud since forever, but I personally think it’s too good not to be shared.
It’s an all-Australian effort. Actually both of these acts hail from Perth. The original track is by Flower Drums – a four-piece that make smooth and velvety pop. Flower Drums came onto lots of people's radars last week (including mine) when their latest release was featured on a Triple J Unearthed mixtape.
"Swim Down" has been remixed by another Indie Shuffle newcomer that goes by the cool name of Diger Rokwell. I like what he did here to make this a notable fusion of synths and bass. I find the beat work in this to be superb.
