Why do we like this?
You might have recognized the name Finn Riggins from SXSW's Artist Showcase this past year, but in case you haven't, this vibrant trio from Boise, Idaho will surely capture your attention with banger "Benchwarmers" via Portland's Tender Loving Empire.
This energetic and quirky gem crosses genres from electronic to indie rock to experimental, bringing them all together in one forceful punch of a song. The urge to dance is evident from the first play with its prismatic productions and confidently plucked guitar bursts. It's hard to pin down exactly where there sound might be inspired from, but wherever it comes from, I can dig it.
Part of their 5-track EP, you can grab Benchwarmers from Tender Loving Empire's website or download the track for free, here.
