Here in Detroit, we used to have this thing called Sunday Citizens. It was a bi-montly Sunday event in that backyard of The Old Miami, put on by a few peeps that I don't know well, but know they are heavy regulars in the electronic scene around here.
The premise: gather a bunch of local and international DJs together and proceed to play chill house music for all who come and hang. Daytime electronic events are just the best. I haven't heard of one happening in a while, but the point is, they're fun. And this Mario Aureo edit of Fink's "Maker" would be the perfect mood for said event.
But one doesn't need a designated event to enjoy this track. I had it playing all morning; even my brother, who doesn't like electronic music, can appreciate the acoustic aspect of it. "Maker" is undeniably a good crowd pleaser, however large the crowd. What's more, it's free for download. Enjoy!
