Why do we like this?
I saw Emancipator's set in The Do Lab stage during Coachella, and it turned out to be one of my favorite performances. Of course there were plenty of great artists performing over the course of the weekend, but the vibe in the tent that night was what made the performance so special. There was plenty of room to move around, people were in good spirit, the lights on the stage looked great, and some laid-back dance grooves carried everyone to another level.
Emancipator will be releasing a new remix compilation called Remixes on June 21. As a preview, the Ooah remix for "First Snow" is being offered as a free download over on Emancipator's BandCamp. You may recognize Ooah as one third of the electronic group The Glitch Mob, but Ooah likes to keep things slow and sexy for his solo project so this remix definitely carries that same vibe.
