Why do we like this?
"Wake Up Call" is just a little tease of a snippet, but a massive tune nonetheless. In all its neoclassic glory, progressive synth sounds build with a classic house beat and make for an energized club hit.
First we heard from Elef, aka Eleftherios Kousakis, was this Detroit Swindle remix released via Dirt Crew. Now he's back with "Wake Up Call," forthcoming via Local Talk, the Swedish label that first tuned us in to HNNY.
Now, either my investigative skills are working poorly this afternoon or the elusive German producer has fallen off the digital grid. As far as personal profiles go, he hasn't got a lot I can link you to, but if you're on Beatport you can keep up on his latest releases there. Enjoy!
