Eddie Lemonier is a Brooklyn product via New Orleans. This exclusive peek at his latest music project, which includes a first-ever coinciding music video filmed on the winter beaches of Long Island, is an impressive peice of work from a fashion industry professional blending music production into his lifestyle.
Equipped with a good sense of sound, affinity for funky beats, and flow for days, his first single, "Undertow," is an exploration into the world of lost love, and a visual dissertation of the ocean and its beauty. The beat, produced by Chill Sexy (also from Brooklyn), serves as the perfect platform for choppy rap vocals and a dreamy chorus. The unique sound we hear provides a certain vulnerability that doesn't typically exist in the genre.
This is Eddie's first release, and we will definitely be keeping our eyes and ears on the newcomer in 2014.
