First off, let me commend SaintWood's signed producer WYLYN, aka Mathieu Bonin, for his reword of the newest Drake track "How About Now," and for giving the original a run for its money.
The original was leaked less than a week ago off the October's Very Own artist's forthcoming album View From the 6, and it took Bonin no time at all to snatch it up.
"I was thinking about remixing the song the day it came out," the artist stated, "Thats when i realized the bpm was at 120. I thought it would be interesting to add some housey kinda drums, a couple of synth layers... it worked perfectly with the baseline."
Bonin isn't quick to take all the credit the Toronto-born rapper, however, letting it be known that he "couldn't mess up with that baseline; it's too good."
You heard 'em, Drake. Keep producing and rapping your way up to musical majesty and talented artists like WYLN will continue to pick them up and work them out. We're looking forward to what comes next from both Canadian artists.
