Why do we like this?

So on Friday morning, I woke up to see the blogosphere had blown up because "Drake pulled a Beyonce." Even Huffington Post was talking about it. I thought it was funny that everyone was foaming at the mouth because someone else dropped "secretive" sounds. Let's be real: the tactic's nothing new, but it is an unexpected present in the ramp up to his upcoming fourth studio album, View from the 6.

I listened through the mixtape on hotnewhiphop before it was moved over Spotify (lame) and I'll admit I was (as always) digging it. The beat's are tight and the vocals satisfy the Drake hunger: full of vigor and bravado for days. Not to mention that the guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Travi$ Scott, and PARTYNEXTDOOR are icing the cake.
