Brooklyn, New York harbors an insane amount of talent. Needless to say, a lot of that talent gets swept under the rug. Well, that's where we come in – at least that's what I like to think.
Take this Don Scott tune, for example. "Darryl Dawkins" may have picked up over 12,000 plays in two months time, but the quality of this track is on par with most major label hip-hop, if not better than most.
Unfortunately, a lot of good music will be forgotten. This insuperable dilemma has been occurring since the prehistoric ages. At least now we have recording equipment, along with services like Indie Shuffle to document what would otherwise be consigned to oblivion.
If you're a fan of what you're hearing, give Don Scott a follow on Twitter.
