Why do we like this?

The new years is almost upon us. You're probably sick of words. I'm sick of commas and periods and... wait, I didn't mean periods. I mean, I meant grammatical periods. Oh, Jesus, this isn't going well.

For some reason in the latter stages of 2016 the internet's perception of this year degraded on quite a massive scale. There have been so many, "The world is doomed," memes. I'll reiterate, with regards to music this has been a pretty great year.

I'm not going to unpack that, because as I said earlier I'm not really feeling words so much rn -- just think about how this year has been for you from a musical perspective. It can't have been that bad?
