Something must be in the water wherever Daughter live, because their music seems to have one singular objective: making the listener sad.
Numbers is the latest single off the band's upcoming album Not To Disappear, set for release on January 15th via 4AD and Glassnote. Apart from the somber tone, this one actually stands out for its clever wordplay around the 2:45 minute mark, with a beautiful rhythm conveyed by word.
