Why do we like this?
Transnistrian producer Cuthead is a man with fingers in many pies. We've seen him producing top notch dubstep and house in his time, but on his track "Heartless," it's pure instrumental hip-hop.
Truth be told, there is a soulful theme running throughout Cuthead's work; tracks like "The Sinner" are built around it, and so "'Heartless" makes perfect sense. The Three Dog Night's "Easy to Be Hard" sample is putty in Cuthead's hands, and he turns it into a wonderful piece of modern soul music.
