Why do we like this?
It's one thing to remix a song out of leisure, but it's an entirely different story when a group like Crystal Fighters comes knocking at your door requesting your remix services. I know for a fact that the boys from Sun City were absolutely stoked with the opportunity that had been handed to them and left little behind in their "LA Calling" remix.
This was probably my favorite single from Cave Rave, so I when first heard news of the potential collaboration, I was pretty darn excited to say the least. Now, we've had some pretty phenomenal remixes from the Perth duo this year, and this is no exception. It's big, bold and full of energy, which is exactly how I like my remixes to be. Also, it takes nothing away from the original and delivers a barrage of eclectic synths that prime this song for the dance floor.
Sun City have shows in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney this month, so make sure you catch them live!
