Why do we like this?
When remixing Clu's "What Can I Say?", Simon Bird didn't want to change too much from the the original, minimal version. What he did do was take "What Can I Say" from the club and placed it in the chapel. By that I mean, it sounds like it's playing in a chapel. Seriously!
Massive reverb and airy vocals make the punchy blip of the original a little more ethereal -- a little less retro and dissonant and a little more industrial and melodic. I gravitate toward melody, so I got suckered into the remix.
