Why do we like this?
Fact Magazine recently ran an article highlighting some tracks they thought should have become summer anthems (but didn't). One of those tracks was this swinging UK garage number from Classified, an alias of Bassline legend DJ Q.
It's not hard to see what Fact was getting at; this really is a summer anthem in the making. With Todd Edwards-style vocal chops and swing, it's not hard to see where the ideas came from. Despite this debt, it still very much sounds like 2013, with a deep sub-bass carrying the track and reminding the listeners of Q's Bassline origins.
Although this actually came out at the start of the summer, it's not too late to grab a copy. Just head here.
