Why do we like this?
What do you get when you mix folk-pop with modern production techniques? Chase Coy's "Like Sin" might be a good example...
The US-based artist is gearing up to release a new album, and today we're lucky enough to get the scoop on a premiere of the second single (following up last month's "Youth").
Of particular note to me on this track is the sporadic percussion. It's minimal but unusual for a folk-based single, with its poly-rhythmic structure leaving the vaguest hint of trap influence.
Youth will be available in June and can be pre-ordered here.
