Why do we like this?

Cakedog emerged last year, inserting himself into the conversation around footwork with his melody-driven and energetic compositions.

The Menace In The Phantom was his first full offering, and he's continuing to build his world with O.T.K. or Out The Kitchen, a three-song EP for TAR. 

"Let That Shit Bang" is an infectious standout from the collection. Soft piano keys mesh with scattered snares and kicks to form a smoldering banger (the guitar sample is Bibio). It's a slow burn, but pretty soon you'll be going in for seconds.
