Why do we like this?
Before embarking on tour with his band Passion Pit (you may have heard of them?), drummer and solo genius Shuttle took the time to throw a funky remix up of a small band called Burning Hotels - which you can peep here.
As for the real track in play here, the single that was remixed and released alongside it today is "Always." Burning Hotels are a mysterious bunch, having put together one of the more solid debut albums I've ever heard, yet never doing much more than peek out from the undergound.
They've stayed under the radar for too long, and I can't allow this to happen anymore -- they're just too good. "Always" is a prime example of their talent - something we'll be seeing lots more of as the year progresses.
While we wait for new content, we'll be checking them out on their West Coast tour -- hopefully we'll see you there.
