2013 was a great year for hip-hop. So great that you'll likely disagree with the list you are about to read.
Throughout the year, I spent much of my free time driving around, listening to new rap music in my Volvo. Several of those rap tunes and the rap guys that made them have been compiled here for you to digest and consider.
As always, I should let you know I didn't take an interest in listening to every rap release, and there are no doubt some that many folks seem to dig that I just never got around to playing (
Run The Jewels,
Cult Classic,
Acid Rap). Still, as I look over what is offered here, I'd have to say this is a pretty good rap list for a pretty good rap year.
