Brilliant Melbourne-based producer Andrei Eremin has made a name for his behind-the-scenes work with artists like Chet Faker, Miami Horror and Hiatus Kaiyote. But, he's also branched out with his own material over the past year or so.
Aside from a few finely-tuned remixes, he released the Indie Shuffle-featured "Ghosts" last year, a collaboration with fellow Melbourne musician Fractures.
Today, we premiere the remix of that song, which has received a new direction courtesy of Rat & Co - completing a Melbourne hat-trick at the same time. Possessing that ominous, almost industrial sound that Rat & Co have become known for on their remixes, the re-imagination sets the platform nicely for Fractures' emotive vocals to once again take center stage.
Andrei Eremin will be releasing a remix EP on April 22 that also includes tracks with I'lls, Milwaukee Banks, Japanese Wallpaper as well as a remix of Juicy J's 'Low'. You can download it in its entirety from Eremin's bandcamp.
