R&B crooner Aloe Blacc continues his career resurgence with the uplifting "The Man." Sure, career resurgence might be a stretch, but let's be honest, one hit single doesn't make an artist. Thankfully for Blacc, he's a man of immense talent, and his forthcoming Wake Me Up EP is looking to capitalize on this.
We've already heard the groovy, Pharrell-assisted "Love Is The Answer," now we have the commanding "The Man." Blacc references the lyrics of the Elton John classic "Your Song," in the chorus, flipping the view from second person to first person, while enlisting the help of a choir during the songs final stanza. Just in case we need reminding Blacc really is "The Man."
