Why do we like this?

Indie rock isn't an easy genre to win me over, particularly given the high volume of submission I get within the category.

Airways, however, managed to stand out from the crowds -- and it's not necessarily because they did something incredibly original.

Rather, they've pulled together a finely-tuned song that captures elements from some of my favorite bands. I think it's a really solid debut for the UK band, and hopefully you'll agree.
