Why do we like this?
Action Bronson's Blue Chips 2 drops November 1, and to say anticipation is high would be an understatement. Last year's Blue Chips was not only Bronson's breakout release, but one of the mixtapes of 2012, so I'm pumped to hear what he has in store for the second installment.
Yesterday Bam Bam previewed new track, "Practice," during Pete Rosenberg's radio show on Hot 97. Teaming up with Blue Chip collaborator Party House once again, "Practice" opens with Allen Iverson's classic "practice?" speech, with Bronson's love of dropping pop culture-inspired lyrics highlighted throughout, with Dog The Bounty Hunter, Rey Mysterio, and Patrick Bateman all referenced over the horn sampling beat.
Short and sweet with only two verses and no chorus, "Practice" is a great introduction to Blue Chips 2, a mixtap that is sure to be another success for the former chef.
