Why do we like this?

Aaliyah remixes don't do much for me usually. Nothing wrong with them on the whole, it just feels like they're destined to come and go like the tide.

Krs., an emerging producer that reps Toronto and Kingston, is on to something with his edit of "Are You That Somebody." Krs. sampled Brasstracks's heavenly cover of the same tune, per SoundCloud. Smart move there. The trumpets may be subtle, but they add an appreciated layer of depth to Krs.'s bass-friendly production.
