Lo and behold, the guys from 1,2,3 are back after a ginormous two-year absence -- and boy has their sound evolved. To be honest, I didn't recognize the Pittsburgh quartet until those sun-licked vocals made their long-awaited appearance in what is an extremely laid-back ballad.
The song is taken off their upcoming double album, Big Weather (hence the 1 in the song title), and is somewhat of a tribute to the tornado that hit Nic Snyder's aunt's house, amongst other things. It's not your usual indie rock jam with it's constant ebbs and flows, but it's definitely one to get stuck in your head in the coming days.
